Different areas of the body require different techniques.
We use both hard and soft wax to deliver effective hair removal while supporting the comfort and condition of your skin.
Hard wax is applied directly to the skin and removed without a fabric strip. It wraps around the hair as it sets, making it especially well suited for smaller or more sensitive areas.
Hard wax is commonly used for:
Soft wax is applied in a thin layer and removed with a professional waxing strip. It is ideal for efficiently removing hair from larger areas of the body.
Soft wax is commonly used for:
Your waxing artist will determine which method—or combination of methods—is best suited to your service.
Cirepil is a professional waxing system known for its specialized hard and soft wax formulas. Its range of waxes allows our artists to select the appropriate product for delicate facial areas, coarse hair, sensitive skin, and larger body treatments.
Using the right wax for each service helps provide:
For the best results, hair should generally be approximately one-quarter inch long—about the length of a grain of rice. Avoid shaving the area for two to three weeks before your appointment whenever possible.
Before your service:
Certain medications and skincare products may make the skin more sensitive and could require postponing or modifying your service.
Freshly waxed skin may be temporarily sensitive. For approximately 24 to 48 hours after your appointment, avoid excessive heat, friction, sun exposure, swimming, hot tubs, and intense exercise.
Once the skin has calmed, gentle exfoliation can help reduce the likelihood of ingrown hairs and maintain smooth results between appointments.
Results typically last between three and six weeks, depending on the treatment area, your individual hair-growth cycle, and how consistently you wax.
Regular appointments may help hair grow back softer and finer over time. Your waxing artist can recommend a maintenance schedule based on your skin, hair type, and preferred level of smoothness.
